Boxing Day Order Delay
📦 Current Shipping Timeline, Thank You for Your Patience
At this time, we’re estimating that remaining orders will continue shipping through late January into mid–late February.
If you need your prefer to cancel, simply email us here, support@xxlandco.com and we’ll take care of it, no hard feelings at all.

Why the Delay?
First off, thank you so much for being here and for supporting our small family business with your final orders. Whether you placed a Boxing Day order, restocked a favourite, or discovered XXL for the first time, we truly don’t take your support lightly.
We wanted to share a quick update because some orders are taking longer than usual to ship (over 3 weeks) when it's usually 3 days to pack up orders.. transparency has always been important to us.

We’re processing 1200+ orders in sequence using our packing system (this keeps orders accurate and organized).

Our small packing team is just a few humans — myself (Tina), my brother John, and a Courtney who is part-time.

Some of our sewing team (my aunt and uncle) were temporarily unavailable due to a well deserved vacation.
- My parents also help and they also took a vacation during this time

We coordinate larger carrier pickups rather than daily drop-offs, which adds extra scheduling time during high volume periods.
- The shipping company we use is based in Toronto (2.5 hour drive away from us) so we cannot simply drop off packages daily but we try to if we use couriers like Canada Post and UPS
- We had to take breaks from packing orders because... the scrunchie bins were EMPTY
- I restocked products before they sold because we have the fabric to sew them, not thinking they would sell SO fast so I put a lot of pressure and work on our team with 1000's of scrunchies to make that were sold
- We also had a lot of weather issues that prevent me from even getting to the warehouse (lots of snow and dangerous driving conditions in Ontario!)
- Again I apologize for this delay without proper warning ahead of time, I just had no idea this would all sell like that and so quickly... it was my mistake and I take responsibility, there is nothing more I'd want than to have all your orders packed and shipped out lesson learned!
What we are doing to combat this:
- I have hired extra help to get us through this last push
- and am receiving help beyond our team!
- I am staying closer to the warehouse so I can get to work faster
- I have hired a dog walker to walk my dog Bruce during the day so I don't lose that extra time at work
- I am sewing and am making scrunchies every spare minute I have, bringing them home at night to elastic more!
- I did a drop off myself at the e-shipper warehouse when I was nearby!
We’re packing and sewing as fast as we physically can while still keeping quality and accuracy high, because you deserve that.
