U.S. TARIFFS
U.S. TARIFF NOTICE FOR ALL ITEMS 🇺🇸
💡 What’s Changing
-
In the past, only items like hair claw clips were flagged. Now, all handmade products, including scrunchies, will be subject to tariffs.
-
Tariff and duty fees are set by the U.S. government, not us, and must be paid by you (the recipient) before your package can be released.
-
These fees typically range from 30–70% of your order value.
-
Example: If you spent $100, your tariff fee could range from $30–$70.
-
✅ New Shipping Options
To give you more control, we now offer two shipping methods at checkout:
-
Tariff Paid – XXL & CO LTD. (that's us!) cover the tariff fees upfront.
-
No extra charges upon delivery.
-
Higher shipping cost, since tariffs are prepaid.
-
-
Tariff Unpaid – Tariff fees are due upon arrival.
-
Lower upfront shipping cost, but additional fees will be due upon delivery from the shipping carrier
-
Carrier (USPS, DHL, etc.) will contact you to pay import fees before delivery.
- These fees typically range from 30–70% of your order value.
E.g. if you spent $100 your tariff fee due can be from $30-70.
- These fees typically range from 30–70% of your order value.
- By selecting this option, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for paying tariff and duty charges (estimated at 30–70% of your order total).

🔍 What We’re Doing
We’re working closely with a customs broker to confirm whether our handmade products qualify for CUSMA (Canada–U.S.–Mexico Agreement) exemptions. If approved, this could reduce or remove tariffs altogether.
Until then, we’re shipping with full transparency, so you’ll always know what to expect.
Update: We were rejected the CUSMA form because the fabric we use is purchased in Canada however it's made overseas.
🙏 THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING
We know this isn’t ideal, and we truly wish we had more control over it. Thank you for your patience and for supporting our small business across borders. 💖
