Did you know every scrunchie has a story behind it? ✨ One of my favourite parts of running XXL has been sharing those stories with you.
This launch feels extra meaningful… because after 5 years and hundreds (actually 1000's) of scrunchies, I finally named one after myself, The Tina Scrunchie. 🖤
The very first scrunchie I made was cut from one of my mom’s old shirts and gifted to my cousin for Christmas. That night, she convinced me to turn it into a business. From then on, I named scrunchies after people close to me like family, friends, even community members who inspired me. It was my way of honouring connections and keeping loved ones close, even when I couldn’t see them!
The Tina Scrunchie represents my journey from before until now, and how far we’ve come together.
This launch might also be the last new product drop for a little while as we navigate the challenges of new U.S. tariffs. It’s not easy to admit or share that, but I believe in transparency and want you to know what’s happening behind the scenes.
